So much work went into these mosaics! You have a remarkable gift for seeing things that most people would walk right past, whether in a subway station or out in the greater world. It’s weird, but I often get the Alfred Hitchcock theme song stuck in my head…. Unsettlingly often. 😳
Lovely stuff! My partner lives in Leytonstone and I've walked past the murals hundreds of times, but never knew there was 17, or spent much time looking at them, though we always show them off to visitors. Really nice reading something about them.
Thank you for capturing and sharing these stunning mosaics. The phrase "a wonderful thing that had been hiding in plain sight" serves as a useful reminder that we are all surrounded by wonderful things and need to keep our eyes open to notice them.
Wow, what a great set of mosaics! Thanks for sharing them.
Thank you!

Thank you Jaime! You have a gift for noticing the little big worlds in nature that pass most people by. Ha, I get musical brain loops!
This one has been going on for years!! No idea why it's this particular song!
😂 😬

That’s great, Phil! Really happy this has found it’s way to someone who knows the murals. I think they’re so striking (but tricky to linger over!)
